I need your help.

Tackle it Tuesday this week needs your imput to help me make some wise shopping decisions in the next two weeks. Read on to see how you can help.

I am heading home to the states at the end of the week. I will be there for a little over two weeks. While I am there I hope to do some shopping. My wardrobe needs some help but with the horrible exchange rate and the difficulty I have just finding clothes that fit me well here (not to mention that the prices before the exchange are awful) I haven't bought much here. I know I can make my money work for me better back "home". I have been reading and listening to some advice on buying clothes that are flattering for your figure and I would like whatever I buy to really look good, not just be serviceable. So, this is where you come in .... I am trying to determining what colors I look best in and what "season" I am color-wise. Would you take a look at the slide show and leave a comment letting me know which colors you thought were the most flattering and which season you think I am (if you know anything about that.) As an incentive for commenters, I will use a random number generator to pick one of commenters (or maybe 2 if I get lots of response) and I will send you a little souvenir of Spain as a thank you for taking the time to look and comment.

I don't know a whole lot about seasons, but I thought the colors that look best on you were the brighter ones (in the pink family).

Did you hear about the restaurant in Venice that is offering a 20% discount to Americans because of the value of the dollar? Isn't that crazy?!!

I would say summer (just guessing, I looked at that book a LONG time ago). You might want to look up http://www.beauticontrol.com/
a BeautiControl consultant. They used to do an "analysis" of you - colors, (clothes, hair, jewelry) style, etc. It might be worth checking into.

I thought black looked good too.

Hi - I like the blues and like Jen said the brighter ones but I also like the black dress with the white trim. This time frame is difficult but have found things that work at Macy's - don't know if they are in New England or not. They appear to be high-end but when you really look you can find affordable things. Happy Shopping!!

I have to agree with what everyone else is saying. The hot pink with the coral tones looked great as well as other brighter tones. I also liked the black. Happy shopping!

Well I should probably not be giving fashion advice but I think you should not be afraid to try bright colors. Some colors that I've noticed a lot of this season are turquiouse, coral, pinks and bright light and dark (but not neon) green.
