Wordless Wednesday: Coloring graduates to junior high

My son's first project for 7th grade art class brought "coloring" to a new level. He needed to learn how to use a square and triangle "ruler" and a compass. He had the main design done and it was partially inked in, but he worked hard on this for almost 4 hours tonight to finish it since it is due tomorrow.

Wow! I would say he is really artistic. If envy were nice, I would envy him! I enjoy reading your blog and keeping up with your family. Keep on blogging.

Oh. my. heart. I completely remember doing that same project in 7th-grade art class at Lafayette Park Junior High. I LOVED doing it, and probably did about 40-50 of them at home that whole next year - - - literally!!!! His is MUCH better than mine were - nice job!

Hi nuri,
Sorry I didn´t respond to you earlier. I didn´t see your comment right away. We are church-planters which means we are helping to establish Baptist churches in Spain. Right now my husband works at a bookstore in Madrid that provides Bibles and christian books to the evangelical community. It looks like he may be pastoring a small church in the area too in the near future. We want to teach others what the Bible teaches so that they can come to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their saviour.

Thanks, I was kind of intrigued, since most of Spain is actually Christian... though not very practising, probably
