Being sick in the summer

It is 2am. I am wide awake. Probably has something to do with the fact that I slept until 2 pm this afternoon. I'm sick, and it is at least 98 degrees outside. Being sick in the summer really stinks. I got up this morning and let my hubby know I was not going to be able to go to church, (I guess they managed OK singing without piano), made sure everyone had their offering money and then stumbled back into bed. Read a few chapters in Mark and then couldn't keep my eyes open anymore and went back to sleep. Woke up when the family got back from church at 2pm and dragged myself out to the table to eat the chicken dinner that they picked up at the roasted chicken restaurant down the block. Helped #1 son get packed for camp tomorrow, ironed 5 collared shirts for him to wear to the evening chapel services at camp, took my temp (99.1) and settled into the LazyBoy to watch an old Jimmy Stewart movie with the family. (Pot of Gold) I am hoping when I head back to bed in a couple of minutes that I'll finally be able to relax and get to sleep. If not, I predict another rough morning!
